This systems
key element is the Double Swivel Uncoiler which allows a coil to be loaded on one side as the
coil is paying off on the oppsite side.
The coil is prepared on the load side prior to rotating it into the pay-off position. The lead end is positioned for threading top or bottom pay-off and the O.D. bands are removed.
The coil is rotated into the line run position as soon as the previous coil is depleted and can be immediatly threaded into the flattener.
This system can easily be automated for faster and easier coil loading and threading into the mill.

Single Uncoiler
Systems are generally used on wide heavier gauge lines. Quick loading is accomplished with a coil
car that provides off line coil preparation.
These coil cars are designed to provide burr orientation, positioning of the lead ends and band removal, prior to loading the coils on the uncoiler.
In some cases the coil loading car can remain in-line to assist in feeding material to the flattener when paying off the bottom of the coil.

Tandem Systems
consist of two Uncoilers, two Peeler Units, and two Flatteners.
This system in used for high speed mills where accumulation time is at a minimum.
Coils can be loaded, flattened and threaded up to the entry side of the welder while the previous coil is being processed.
Upon tail out the next coil is immediately threaded into the coil end joiner. Thread time is kept to a minimum.
